New iPhone SE 2, AirPods and iPad Mini launch – Apple may reveal all THIS MONTH

There might be a very interesting month ahead for Apple fans with the US technology firm expected to hold a major launch event in just a few weeks’ time.

Some reports have suggested that Apple will reveal all on Monday, March 25 at its Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino.

There’s no official confirmation if a keynote is about to take place or what will be unveiled but rumours are rife that Apple will lift the lid on a range of new devices and online services.

So if you’re an avid follower of Apple here’s what we may see.

NEW IPAD MINI

The popular iPad Mini is long overdue a refresh and an upgrade could be coming later this month.

According to latest reports, Apple has filed a registration with the Eurasian Economic Commission for five previously unreleased iPad models.

If this follows tradition it could mean new devices will follow soon after and that could back up rumours that a smaller tablet is inbound.

Along with the filling, another report posted by Mac Rumours also claims to have CAD renders of how the iPad mini will look and there’s even some suggestion that it will have Apple Pencil support.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens but there’s plenty to suggest a new tablet is coming.

NEW AIRPODS

Another new device that could arrive later this month is updated AirPods.

It’s thought that these new headphones will get improved sound and the ability for their charging case to get a refill without the need for wires.

Samsung has just released its all-new Galaxy Buds which already feature wireless charging and Apple is unlikely to want to be left behind for long.Watch this space but we think new AirPods could definitely be on their way.

AIRPOWER PAD

The AirPower was first announced back in 2017 but since then we’ve not heard any more news on this wireless charging pad.

If Apple does announce new AirPods then the AirPower could launch alongside them with users then able to charge their iPhones, Apple Watch and headphones in one place.

iPHONE SE 2

This is possibly one gadget that many want to see but it could also be the most unlikely.

There’s been a swathe of supposed leaks and renders hitting the web recently but these are not based on any actual facts.

The iPhone SE is still hugely popular and an update to this entry-level phone would definitely be welcomed especially as it could arrive with a bigger screen, faster processor and improved camera.

Sadly, with Apple usually unveiling new iPhones in September, the chances of an SE 2 arriving anytime soon appear slim.

WHAT ELSE COULD BE COMING?

It’s widely thought that as well as new hardware Apple could also reveal some new service.

In fact, some have even speculated that Apple’s March event will only be about online services with no gadgets revealed at all.

We think that’s unlikely but a new Apple News and video streaming platform could be announced.

If all the rumours are true then there’s not long to find out what will be coming next from Apple and express.co.uk will bring you all the latest news and updates as soon as they are announced.
