We review our favourite smartphone cameras as we head into 2019, offering the best photo and video quality as well as brilliant features like Portrait Mode and Pro controls.
Our favourite mobile shooter right now is Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro, complete with a tri-lens setup. This camera can shoot incredible photos in any conditions, especially at night, while the versatile lenses suit any occasion. We also still love the P20 Pro, another triple cam smartphone.
Sony’s Xperia XZ2 Premium boasts the company’s first dual lens camera, capturing extreme detail even at night. The 4K HDR video and Super Slow Motion mode help to set this mobile apart from rival cameraphones. Of course, the Xperia XZ3 is still great too, despite rocking a single lens.
