Tottenham hero TROLLS Arsenal with hilarious Twitter post before north London derby

Arsenal travel to Tottenham for a crunch Premier League game on Saturday afternoon.

The north London derby has always been a game that’s delivered high-end drama and entertainment throughout the years.

And Saturday’s should be no different, as Spurs look to avenge the 4-2 loss they suffered at the Emirates back in December.

And Van der Vaart, who played for Spurs for two years, scoring 24 Premier League goals in the process, has kicked proceedings off with the first jibe of the weekend.

The former Real Madrid man tweeted: On any @SpursOfficial players to do list for tomorrow:

“Score against your biggest rival.

“Wheel off to the right.

“Do the shush celebration.

“Good luck. I’ll be watching.”

The Dutchman scored against Arsenal numerous times during his two seasons with the club under Harry Redknapp.

During that time, he became an important player in Tottenham’s Champions League exploits.

Along with the likes of Gareth Bale, Peter Crouch and Aaron Lennon, Van der Vaart was part of the side that made it to the quarter finals of Europe’s elite competition in 2011.

Spurs will be hoping to replicate that this season, and are just one leg away from doing so.

Having won their last 16 first leg against Borussia Dortmund 3-0, Mauricio Pochettino’s men just the small task of keeping the German side at bay at the Signal Iduna Park.

But before that, they’ll have to focus on their biggest rivals Arsenal.

Spurs are coming off the back of successive Premier League losses against Burnley and Chelsea, while Arsenal have registered victories over Southampton and Bournemouth in the same time.
