LK Bennett set to enter administration? Brand Kate Middleton wore facing 'difficult times'

The founder of LK Bennett, Linda Bennett, is said to have emailed staff today about the intention to file for administration. An email sent under her name reads: “Shortly, we will be announcing our intention to file for administration, and I wanted to let you known before this happened.” According to MailOnline, the fashion house is currently working with Ernst & Young in order to determine the “best way through” some “difficult times”. The publication went on to report that this could put up to 500 jobs at risk.

In the message sent to staff today, the businesswoman is said to have thanked staff for their “hard work and dedication”.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for LK Bennett asking for comment.

The brand was founded back in 1990.

According to the most recent accounts, it has 130 stores across the world.

In addition, LK Bennett clothes are available to buy through concessions in some of the UK’s best known department stores.

This includes Selfridges, House of Fraser and John Lewis.

The label has become a firm favourite for many – and it has plenty of fans in the public eye.

She teamed it with the Fern Khaki Suede Courts of the same brand, which cost £195.

Finishing off her look, she carried the aforementioned Dora Khaki Suede Clutch bag.

It previously sold for £175, but at the time, was reduced to £119.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were recently pictured in Belfast during a two-day visit to Northern Ireland.

Yesterday, Kate sported a unusual blue dress which had a cape design at the shoulders.
