Ross Kemp takes on MOST dramatic role yet – set in 'post-apocalyptic' Washington D.C.

Ross Kemp is something of a national treasure, first hitting the limelight in EastEnders as Grant Mitchell – but the actor-turned-documentary maker has tried his hand at something new this year.

The BAFTA winning star has taken on the role of the President to narrate community stories from brand-new Tom Clancy game, The Division 2.

Addressing the world from a post-apocalyptic Oval office – Ross has narrated a number of real stories submitted by players of the upcoming sequel to the hit Tom Clancy game franchise.

The Division 2 is set in a post-apocalyptic recreation of Washington D.C.

Kemp’s narrated stories come ahead of the upcoming release on March 15th and allows players to explore the game’s tense Dark Zones.

Speaking of his new role, Ross Kemp, said: “I am thrilled to be involved in the Clancy universe bringing the incredible stories of The Division community to life in a world that, for many, has a real sense of tension and jeopardy.”

The actor is bringing to life the combat and dramatic tension of the game’s “Dark Zones”, places where nobody is safe from enemies and teammates alike.

‘Ross Kemp’s Tales from the Dark Zone’ will be released via Ubisoft UK social channels from today, ahead of the game’s release on March 15th, 2019.

The first three films premier today, available now to view via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

Commenting on Kemp’s latest mission, Adam Merrett, Senior PR Manager at Ubisoft, said: “We’re thrilled to have Ross on-board to bring his unique delivery style and dramatic narration to the unpredictable Dark Zones of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

“Throughout his career Ross has immersed himself in military conflict, both fictional and factual, so bringing him into the iconic world of Tom Clancy felt like a perfect fit.”
