This April the sequel to last year’s Avengers Infinity War will be released and it’s expected to make even more money than its predecessor. According to Blomberg, Avengers Endgame will have the biggest opening of all time in North America. The current record holder is Avengers Infinity War with $258 million, which topped Star Wars The Force Awaken’s $248 million. However, Avengers Endgame is set to make a whopping $282 million.
The outlet writes: “Avengers Endgame, the fourth film in the Marvel superhero series, is expected to set a weekend box-office record when it opens April 26.
“Researcher Exhibitor Relations predicts $282 million in North American ticket sales, topping the $258 million mark set last year by Avengers Infinity War.”
As it stands Avengers Infinity War is the fourth highest grossing movie of all time, with $2.048 billion made worldwide.
No doubt Avengers Endgame will make even more and may even top Star Wars The Force Awakens’ $2.068 billion.

He added: “In large part, because…it’s seeded right there. I mean, it’s seeded in Ultron.”
Avengers Infinity War ended on a huge cliffhanger, which saw Thanos the villain succeed in murdering half the universe.
The sequel will see the survivors team up with Captain Marvel to reverse the Decimation.
Avengers Endgame is released in UK cinemas on April 25, 2019.
