AirPods update could bring Galaxy Buds best feature to Apple’s headphones

If all the rumours are true, Apple could hold a major launch event later next month.

Although not confirmed, it seems March 25 is when the next swathe of Apple news could be unleashed on the world with many expecting some new online services, iPads and even the release of an update iPhone SE to be part of the keynote.

But one of the most exciting updates could be some all-new AirPods.

It’s not clear what new features will be included on these refreshed headphones but it’s thought the clever charging case, that refills the AirPods when they are not being used, could get wireless charging technology included.

Currently, when users want to add power to the AirPods’ case they have to plug it in via a lightning cable.

However, if the speculation is true, in the future you might be able to simply lay the case on a wireless charging pad to power up the battery.

Samsung has just released its Galaxy Buds with these headphones already coming packed with a wireless charging case that can even be refilled by being placed on the new Galaxy S10.

With one of Apple’s biggest rivals now featuring this technology in its headphones, it’s unlikely that Apple will want to wait too long before releasing its own version.

To add fuel to this AirPods rumour, many are suggesting that Apple’s AirPower charging bad is finally ready for release.

This clever gadget, which can charge numerous devices at the same time, was first announced back in 2017 but Apple hasn’t revealed any fresh details on an official release.

Hopefullythat will change soon with Apple fans possibly getting their hands on this dock in the coming months.

We’ll have to wait and see if Apple does hold an event on March 25 but with that date looming we should find out more details very soon.
