Fortnite trailer: Season 7 recap created ahead of Season 8 start date

A new Season 8 Fortnite trailer is set to be released by Epic Games later this week.

But before this happens, kicking off new events and updates in the Fortnite world, a fan created trailer has been revealed.

The useful new creation goes through all the major event of Fortnite Season 7, starting with the holiday theme.

It slowly covers everything that has happened, including the introduction of planes, the release of the Infinity Blade, as well as the Ice King attack.

It’s all covered in the new Fortnite trailer, including everything that has happened in the last few days regarding the Fortnite map.

“Season 7 was the coolest season so far. I am really looking forward to season 8!” one fan commented on the new trailer.

“I wonder how much of a revenue hit Epic is taking on the S8 free battle pass? I will likely buy some new skins this month with my extra V-Bucks, but I won’t be pumping my quarterly $10 into the economy.”

New cracks have been appearing and will no doubt help bring about the epic changes coming to the game for Season 8.

The development team has yet to announce everything that is happening for Season 8, but information isn’t far away.

Season 8 is scheduled to begin tomorrow, February 28, on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mobile.

Epic Games will likely have all the updates on the Battle Pass, map changes and official Season 8 trailer in place by the afternoon.

As always with big updates, Epic Games will need to take servers offline to make way for scheduled maintenance.

This will be announced in the coming hours and will likely last several hours.

When it comes to timing, fans can expect something in the morning in the UK, followed by patch notes and Battle Pass news.

The official Fortnite Season 8 trailer is also expected to be shared during this time, and that will contain very big news.

Not only will the new trailer illustrate the theme of the new season, but it will also confirm any new features being made available.
