PlayStation Plus deals revealed ahead of March’s PS4 free games update

This week’s new PlayStation Plus sales and deals have been announced by Sony for PS4 and PS4 Pro.

A huge list of games have received discounts on the PlayStation Store which will remain available for the next week.

There are a lot of new games to choose from; however, fans will need to have a PS Plus subscription to access them.

The PS Plus Specials deals include various levels of discounts, with some offering up to 70% off the current price.

The only drawback is that the current PS Plus Specials sale doesn’t appear to be available in the UK.

The good news is that there is a price drop event going on for the UK PlayStation Store, including some top titles.

Soul Calibur VI can be picked up with a 45% discount, as can Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Far Cry 5.

The PSN deals haven’t really been highlighted by Sony on social media, so it will be worth heading over and checking all the games available to buy yourself.

The new PlayStation Plus sales come just ahead of Sony’s announcement regarding their new PS Plus lineup for March 2019.

This news is expected to be shared tomorrow, March 27, and will confirm all the free games being made available to download next month.

So far there have been no leaks confirming what will be included in March’s PS4 free games lineup.

But fans don’t have long to wait, with the announcement expected to be made around 4pm in the UK, GMT.

This will be the first PS Plus announcement that won’t include any PS3 or PS Vita games since Sony decided to remove them from the subscription service.

This was done to focus on the PS4 side of things more and is also looking to the future when it comes to a console switch.

Sony favour announcing their PS Plus games on the last Wednesday of the month but they don’t release the new titles straight away.

Instead, PS Plus subscribers can expect the new collection of titles to be made available on the first Tuesday of March.

This would be March 5, unless otherwise stated by Sony in their upcoming announcement.

The last PS Plus games for PS3 and PS Vita platforms will be disappearing on March 8, Sony has confirmed.

For Honor and Hitman: The Complete First Season are the current PlayStation Plus free game choice for PS4.

PS3 owners can download Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots and Divekick, while the Vita lineup includes Funhouse and Rogue Aces.

It should be noted that the content you have downloaded as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription at no charge is only accessible as long as you are an active subscriber.

The exceptions are free themes and avatars, which you will continue to have access to, even if you are no longer a subscriber.

Anything you have purchased (even if you bought it at a discount) will remain available to you even if your subscription ends.

Also, different countries have different rights, release schedules and, have different things available on their PlayStation Store for this reason.

So this is why you may hear about different games being available in Asia, Europe and North America when it comes to some PS Plus announcements.
