Holly Willoughby: Dancing On Ice host reveals husband Dan Baldwin's criticism 'Stop it'

Holly Willoughby, 38, joined co-host Phillip Schofield, 56, and agony aunt Vanessa Feltz, 57, on This Morning to take calls from viewers during their phone-in segment. One fan asked for advice about her partner criticising her driving, prompting Vanessa to exclaim that her husband Ben Ofoedu, 46, does the same thing. “I’m always the driver, 100 per cent of the time for nearly 13 years,” she announced. “But does it stop him criticising me? No it doesn’t!

“I’m so tempted to say, ‘Just get out and take the bus, mate,’” she added.

“I have this slightly,” Holly chipped in. “I have it too.

“I do not like overtaking cyclists at all,” she explained. “As soon as there’s a cyclists in front of me I’m like, oh my god just please turn left, please just get off the road, because I can’t do it. I hate it.”

Opening up about her 44-year-old husband Dan’s reaction to her nerves around cyclists, the presenter admitted: “And Dan, now, looks at me—

“All he has to do is do that,” Holly continued, turning he head subtly to the side to look at Phillip. “And I’m like, ‘Stop it! Because I know you’re going to make a big deal of the fact I’m going to sit behind this cyclist until they move!’

“And so it makes you more nervous,” she said.

“It makes you nervous!” Vanessa agreed. “I say that to Ben! I say, ‘Stop criticising me.’”

Holly went on to reveal her tactic for distracting herself from Dan’s critical looks, saying she turns the radio up.

She and Dan have been married for 11 years and share three children together.

The ITV favourite first met the producer working on the set of children’s show Ministry of Mayhem back in 2004.

After becoming friends, they started dating six months later and he popped the question in 2006.

They are parents to son Harry, nine, daughter Belle, seven, and four-year-old son Chester.

Holly recently returned from a skiing holiday with her family.

She took a break from This Morning over half-term to hit the slopes with the kids, sharing several rare insights into her personal life with her 5.2 million Instagram followers.

One video showed her skiing down a slope and taking off over a jump before landing on a huge inflatable crash mat.

“May have scared myself stupid doing this,” she captioned the upload. “Things you do when your nine-year-old tells you you can’t do something! Point proven I think.”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
