Emmerdale spoilers: Cain Dingle TURNS on Debbie Dingle as she does the unforgivable?

In a moment of rage mother-of-two Debbie (played by Charley Webb) told Kerry (Laura Norton) her dad Cain (Jeff Hordley) was a dangerous man and not to be trusted at the end of last week on Emmerdale.

Kerry has been stewing on the bombshell ever since, but an argument with her husband Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) propelled her to finally take action on the ITV soap tonight.

And in an alarming final scene, Kerry left Debbie full of regret and anguish over her rash actions.

The mother-of-one revealed she is going to get the social services involved to take little Kyle out of Cain’s custody.

The devastating twist will undoubtedly anger Cain, and he could completely turn on his daughter for betraying him.

Showing up at Debbie’s door, Kerry said: “You were very brave coming out and saying what you did about your dad.

Fresh from some biting words with her father, Debbie begged: “Oh don’t listen to anything I said before.”

But Kerry wasn’t listening, and she smiled and reassured the mechanic she had things under control.

“No you were right,” she said. “All this chaos, it’s no place for a little lad.

“I’m meeting with social services, it’s time we got him out of that mad house and as far away from his dad as possible.”

Cain has been desperate to keep his temper in check after he accidentally killed Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), but has continuously teetered dangerously close to the edge of spiralling out of control.

Could this tip him over the edge with the knowledge he has lost his daughter’s trust for good?

Their earlier argument proved things have failed to settle down between the pair.

“That woman is like a dog with a bone,” Cain said of Kerry. “Poisoning [Kyle’s] mind against me, can’t you see what you’ve done?”

“Have you forgotten what you’ve done?” Debbie spat, before launching into yet another rant.

Angry at Cain showing more self-pity, the mother-of-two couldn’t hold back and Cain eventually lost it.

“Yeah, I have done all those things for you. Name a time I have ever turned my back on you,” he demanded. “I have fixed it.

“Even if I’ve had to lie or threaten or manipulate, because that’s what you do for your family.”

“I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry. I don’t know how many times I can say it,” Cain tried again. “I didn’t mean for that to happen, I didn’t want for that to happen, but it did. And I’ve had to live with it every waking moment since. I don’t know what else i can say.”

Cold as ice, Debbie simply replied: “You will destroy him eventually, and Moira [Natalie J. Robb], and Isaac.”

Declaring he was done, Cain has cut all ties with his daughter, but will the pair end up at war?

Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.
