NASA SHOCK: How ISS feed was CUT after 'FIVE anomalies passed over Texas'

NASA’s STS-96 was the first docking mission to the ISS flown by the Space Shuttle Discovery in 1999. The objective was to carry the Spacehab module – filled with cargo – up to the space centre ready for its first manned mission a year later. However, as the world watched on through a live stream of the ISS on TV, conspiracy theories quickly emerged over a number of objects floating around in space.

Jeff Challender, an avid sky watcher, put together a documentary titled “Secret Space”, first premiered on Amazon Prime in 2017.

In the series, he claimed footage obtained from the ISS live feed showed five anomalies passing over the US.

He said: “This event took place on June 4, 1999 – the crew was asleep.

“The Space Shuttle passed Houston, Texas, and the NASA announcer informed viewers that the city below was the home of mission control.

“The camera then zoomed in for a close-up.

“Suddenly something shot by at extreme speed followed by a much larger and brighter object.”

Mr Challender went on to explain why he did not think the objects were of a natural origin.

He continued: “It [the first object] visibly decelerated, came to a halt and dimmed, but did not disappear.

“Immediately a much smaller object appeared and travelled west in a straight line.

“It soon left our field of view.

“The objects displayed no characteristics of meteors.”

The conspiracy theorist went on to claim the person controlling the ISS feed then purposely ended it.

He exclaimed: “As Discovery left Houston behind, the payload bay camera zoomed even closer than before.

“Over the next few minutes, three more objects were seen.

“Soon after the last of these were seen, the live downlink was discontinued.”

It is not the first claim to come from the space boffin.

We also saw similar scenes when the live feed was cut after 21 anomalies appeared.

After that, it was even claimed some of the objects were clocked travelling at 100,000mph.
