M62 traffic: M62 CLOSED after crash between car and HGV – emergency services at scene

Emergency services are working at the scene with the M62 completely closed westbound.

Highways England said the motorway was closed “due to a collision involving a car and a HGV”.

They added later: “The M62 westbound is now closed between the slips at J31 Normanton while emergency services work at scene.

“Traffic diverted via the exit and entry slip roads. Please allow plenty of time for your journey.”
