OnePlus 6T successor could be revealed TOMORROW and is set to offer a radical upgrade

The OnePlus 6T is currently one of the best Android phones you can buy.

This device not only packs some impressive features such as a dual camera, fast Snapdragon processor and edge-to-edge screen but also arrives at a very reasonable price.

In fact, you can currently tuck a 6T in your pocket for under £500.

The 6T has plenty of appeal but it could soon be outclassed by something infinitely better.

OnePlus is expected to reveal some big news at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona tomorrow with rumours suggesting a first glimpse of the OnePlus 7.

This device will no doubt include all the latest updates such as improved cameras, a more powerful processor and bigger battery.

But there could also be something radically different about this phone as it may arrive with 5G technology tucked inside.

5G is the future of accessing the internet on the move with speeds expected to be around four times faster than current 4G.

OnePlus has already made it clear that it will be launching a 5G phone in 2019 and we could find out more details about its plans in the next few hours.

According to a report from USA Today the latest OnePlus device will launch in the second half of the year and be exclusively available via the EE network.

Although this next-generation device will clearly be more expensive than previous OnePlus phones it seems the firm is still keen to give fans value for money.

Samsung’s new S10 5G is expected to cost in excess of £1,000 but OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, said in a recent interview that he wants their devices to launch under $1,000 (£770).

We’ll find out more details tomorrow but it seems 5G is getting one step closer to arriving on UK streets.

All the major operators including EE, Vodafone and O2 have made commitments to getting 5G launched this year and, with new smartphones set to arrive with this technology inside, it could be an exciting year for fans who want the ultimate connectivity.
