Ivanka Trump SNUBS Malia Obama! First daughter FAILS to aid predecessor after drinking ROW

Chelsea Clinton and Jenna Bush Hager have both publicly backed the eldest daughter of the last President. Ms Obama, 20, was pictured drinking rose wine at a private Miami Beach pool party. The legal age to purchase alcohol in Florida is 21.

Following the photos’ publication in the Daily Mail, Ms Obama came under fire from social media critics.

However the daughters of President Bill Clinton and George W. Bush rushed to her defence.

Ms Clinton, 38, tweeted: “Malia Obama is a private citizen.”

This view was backed by Ms Bush Hager, 37, who commented: “Please don’t click on silly stories and let’s give Malia privacy”.

However the current first lady, 37-year-old Ms Trump, has yet to offer her public backing.

The current President’s daughter did come to Ms Obama’s aid in 2017 after a publication reported on Instagram photos of her blowing smoke rings.

Then she tweeted: “Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school-aged peers.

“She is a young adult and private citizen, and should be off limits.”

The pictures, and a short video, showed Ms Obama sharing a bottle of Whispering Angel rose with friends.

It provoked criticism from some online commentators.

Conservative talkshow host Andrew Wilkow tweeted: “Living like the one percent? Drinking underage?

“Let’s see the Democrats and media scream about “privilege” here”.

Separately the Daily Mail reported that Ms Obama described President Trump as “evil” in a private Facebook group.

Finnegan Biden, granddaughter of former vice-president Jo Biden, was also a member of the group.

Prior to his election, Trump promoted the racially charged conspiracy theory that Mr Obama had not been born in the US, and was therefore ineligible to serve as US President.
