Fortnite season 8 teaser: When is the first teaser out on Twitter? Release date and time?

Fortnite season 8 is fast approaching and fans can expect Epic Games to reveal the first teaser soon on Twitter.

Fortnite season 8 looks set to begin soon, with the release date of the new Battle Pass likely to be Thursday February 28.

Epic Games has not officially revealed the Fortnite season 8 release date yet, but they have confirmed when season 7 will end.

Season 7 of Fortnite is set to finish on February 28, and historically new Battle Passes start the same day that previous ones finish.

So all signs are pointing towards Fortnite season 8 kicking off on Thursday February 28.

If that’s the case then we have a good idea of when the first Fortnite season 8 teaser could get revealed.

The past three Fortnite seasons have all begun on a Thursday, and each time that happened the first teaser was revealed on the preceding Monday.

If that happens again then Fortnite Battle Royale fans can expect the first season 8 teaser to drop on Monday February 25.

Then, if Epic Games follows previous new season build ups, two more teasers are likely to be revealed on Tuesday February 26 and Wednesday February 27.

In terms of the times the teaser may get revealed at, with Fortnite season 5 and 6 the teasers were revealed at 3pm UK time.

However, with Fortnite season 7 this varied with teasers dropping between 3pm and 5pm UK time.

There’s no way of knowing for sure what time the first season 8 teaser will drop but keep a close eye on the Fortnite Twitter from 3pm UK time on Monday.

It remains to be seen what the first Fortnite season 8 teaser could show.

It’s heavily been rumoured that Fortnite season 8 will start with a major earthquake that brings with it huge changes to the Battle Royale map.

Could this be hinted at in the first Fortnite season 8 teaser?

It’s also been rumoured that Fortnite season 8 could see players join forces to defeat a huge boss like character that surfaces on the map.

This monstrous creature could emerge after the Fortnite earthquake and may boast a ridiculous amount of health.

Could this creature – rumoured to be either the Fortnite cracken or Fortnite leviathan – be referenced in the first Fortnite season 8 teaser?

That remains to be seen, but Fortnite Battle Royale fans don’t have long to find out.
