Rami Malek admitted he spent hundreds of hours studying footage of Freddie. Whatever the size of his, or anyone’ else’s ego, Freddie was quick to clarify one thing during a French interview.
Asked about being the leader of the band, he immediately said: “I’m not the leader of the band, by the way. Everybody calls me the later of the band. I’m just the lead singer. There’s no such thing… I’m not the general. We’re all four equal people. Four members. I’m just the lead vocalist.”
However, he couldn’t resist the obvious rude puns when describing working with the other three band members.

The film Bohemian Rhapsody does not shy away from the divisions and arguments in the band, with so many strong personalities and creative differences.
In another interview, Freddie acknowledged that egos and opinions often clashed. He said: “It happens all the time. It’s like a cockfight.’
Naturally, he couldn’t leave it there and added: “Four cocks fighting. God, it’s getting nice this…”
