‘Old women giving us the finger’

4.20pm: Danny Care has opened up on the rowdiness of the Cardiff crowd, and it’s hilarious!

He said: “The hype is exactly what you’ve heard. It’s an unbelievable place to play. The stories of people swearing at you are true – it happens.

“I remember old women giving us the middle finger. Everyone gives you stick.

“There was one lad who ran at the bus, jumped and head-butted the side of the bus. That shows the passion, or the stupidity, of some people.”

Will the roof be open or closed?

4.10pm: Open is the simple answer.

With the weather fine, England have forced Wales to leave the roof open at the Principality.

Both countries have to agree for it to be closed, and England don’t want that to be the case.

Wales tend to favour an enclosed stadium to generate a more hostile atmosphere for visiting teams.

Gatland knows challenge awaits

“We know how important this game is for the rest of the championship.

“It’s a massive challenge playing against an England team that is playing really well and with a lot of confidence, and we’ve got to make it difficult for them.”
