The Greatest Dancer final tonight (Saturday, February 23) on BBC One saw Cheryl, 35 wearing a short dress in pink, decorated in holographic fringe. Cheryl had previously featured the dress on her Instagram story and allowed her followers to vote for which outfit she would wear for The Greatest Dancer final. Cheryl combined this dress with a chunky transparent heel.
Earlier in the day she had posted two outfits onto her Instagram from backstage at The Greatest Dancer, with a poll that allowed her followers to pick their favourite.
One dress was what she called “sequin camo”, while the other, which she called “sparkles”, was short, glittery and with light pink fringe.
Just before the show, the “sparkles” dress was winning the vote with over 70% of clicks and it was this dress she wore on the program.
Her hair was tied back and for her make-up she opted for a smoky eye.
Meanwhile, host Alesha Dixon featured in The Greatest Dancer’s Instagram story in a simple black blazer and top combo.
This was combined with a subtle eye-shadow in bronze and a nude lip.
On The Greatest Dancer final itself, however, she chose a bright red blazer with matching skirt.
Oti Mabuse went for the most eye-popping outfit of the night, however.
She started the show in a holographic purple catsuit, paired with a simple tied-back hairstyle.
A photo posted on The Greatest Dancer Instagram revealed that the catsuit also had a hood.
One fan summed it up on Twitter when she wrote: “Oti’s jumpsuit *jaw drops* #greatestdancer.”
For her first dance with her group KLA, however, she also wore fringe, wearing a silver and gold fringed dance outfit that matched those worn by her young group.
For her dance with Harry and Eleiyah, Cheryl also wore a catsuit.
The red skin-tight outfit featured panels of mesh showing off Cheryl’s shoulders and midriff.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “CHERYL WAS AMAZING WITH THAT CHOREOGRAPHY HOLY CRAP. #GreatestDancer #CherylSquad”
Cheryl then changed back to the fringe dress as she returned to the panel.
