Cheryl: What's next for Cheryl after The Greatest Dancer?

The final of The Greatest Dancer is due to air this evening at 7.10 on BBC One. The four finalists to take to the stage one last time hoping to win the top prize. For the three dance captains, Cheryl, Matthew Morrison and Oti Mabuse, the pressure is on as they mentor their remaining acts in the hope they will become The Greatest Dancer.

What’s next for Cheryl after The Greatest Dancer?

Cheryl has not confirmed any upcoming projects for after her stint on The Greatest Dancer.

However, having recently released a new single back in November, the 35-year-old is expected to be putting out some new music and possibly a tour.

The former Girls Aloud singer released her new tune Love Made Me Do It on November 9.

The song was her first release in four years with fans excited to see the singer back on stage.

WILL THE BBC CANCEL THE GREATEST DANCER?

Love Made Me Do It shot straight to number one on the UK’s Official Trending Chart.

Cheryl revealed that the single is part of a larger body of work on Jessie Ware’s podcast, Table Manners.

She explained: “I haven’t been around since streaming has been around.

“Literally as I left, [streaming] came. So I don’t know really yet the way things are going to be received.

“I’ve got a body of work, but I haven’t said, ‘now I’m going to release the album.’ I’m just going to go song by song.”

So hopefully some new singe releases are on the cards.

The BBC has yet to announce whether or not The Greatest Dancer will return for a second series.

If it is recommissioned, Cheryl will likely return as one of the dance captains alongside Matthew Morrison and Oti Mabuse.

As well as some possible new music in the works, Cheryl recently opened up about becoming a mother for the first time.

WHO ARE THE GREATEST DANCER JUDGES?

She began dating One Direction singer Liam Payne in 2016 and while the two have since separated, Cheryl gave birth to their son Bear in March 2017.

In an interview with The Sunday Times Style she said: “I haven’t experienced [mummy-shaming], because I haven’t done an interview (since Bear was born), so I have no idea.

“But I read about other people being mum-shamed and I think, get a life, deal with your own kids, why are you interfering in everyone else’s?”

The Greatest Dancer airs tonight on BBC One at 7.10pm
