The Walking Dead season 9 spoilers: Ezekiel to DIE as the Kingdom faces deadly danger?

The Walking Dead is continuing on AMC and FOX UK and it seems there’s about to be a fresh danger in the coming episode.

It’s going to be Ezekiel (played by Khary Payton) finds himself at risk of losing his life.

While trying to forge an honest life for himself with Carol (Melissa McBride) in the Kingdom, he comes across a fresh threat.

A sneak peak from season nine, episode 11 of The Walking Dead saw Ezekiel horrified as he saw some walkers.

Although the music in the scene appears to be romantic, Ezekiel, Carol and Jerry (Cooper Andrews) have to fight off some zombies.

It’s been a while since the Kingdom has been seen on screens at all.

Henry (Macsen Lintz) was sent over from there to the Hilltop to learn some trades and try desperately to fix up the desolate place.

This time around, they’re in a movie theatre and try to take down some walkers.

The episode is called “Bounty” and will see the Kingdom residents return to the former sanctuary for a special item.

It’s currently unknown what Ezekiel is after but it will have to be something good for him to go all the way back there and risk his life.

Will everyone make it out of the cinema alive? Or will The Walking Dead fans have to suffer through some more fatalities?

Earlier today, it emerged that one former actor from the AMC series thought they got a bit “lazy” on the show.

Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) died last season and he has been sorely missed since.

The actor has since reflected on the role and recently responded to a fan on Reddit who thought Chandler “wasn’t a strong enough actor to play the role”.

The fan went on to suggest Carl should have become a leader when Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) left.

Chandler responded: “Been rematching TWD over the last couple of months and I agree lol. I think I was decent for the first few years, but I definitely got lazy when I should’ve utilised the writers giving me more material.”

He went on to explain how he put school first but maybe should have concentrated a little more on his acting.

“Not trying to toot my own horn here but I took like 10 ap classes throughout high school (for some dumb**s reason, I guess I just wanted to hate myself even more) and put a lot more effort into my education than into my craft.

“This is super evident as I’m watching my earlier lacklustre performances.”

However, Chandler believes his final few episodes of season eight were “impactful”.

The Walking Dead season 9 continues next Sunday on AMC and the following Monday at 9pm on Fox in the UK.
