Robert Kraft arrested: New England Patriots owner accused of soliciting prostitute

Mr Kraft, 77, has been arrested and will be charged with two counts, police said at a news conference today.

Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr said: “Robert Kraft is being charged with the same offences as the others, and that is soliciting another to commit prostitution.

“Right now we have two [counts].”

Two proprietors of Orchids of Asia Day Spa were arrested on Tuesday along with 25 people in the local and state investigation, which was focused on possible human trafficking, Mr Kerr said.

Mr Kraft is accused of visiting the business on two separate occasions to solicit sex.

A spokesman for Mr Kraft said: “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.”

Since Mr Kraft bought the Patriots 25 years ago, the team has become the most successful franchise in the National Football League, appearing in 10 Super Bowls and winning six titles, including Super Bowl LIII earlier this month.

Mr Kraft’s influence in the football world has grown steadily since he purchased the Patriots, to the point that he is widely considered one of the NFL’s most powerful and influential owners.
