LeBron James: Lakers ace Kyle Kuzma slammed for doing THIS while four-time MVP was talking

James inspired the Lakers as they reversed a 19-point deficit to beat Houston Rockets 111-106 on Thursday night.

But Foye says he is worried about the mood in the camp and believes their only hope of making the post-season is by following the lead of their star player.

The Lakers are currently three games back and need to put together a near-perfect run between now and the end of the campaign.

James’ return to fitness and form following the All-Star break has done their chances no harm.

But Foye believes there are other areas that need to be addressed.

“I’m watching the morale,” the 11-year veteran, who started his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, said.

“I think everybody needs to be on board, from training sessions to the way they walk on to the court.

“They need to be on board because they need to win the majority of these games.

“At least 16 games coming down the stretch for them to make the playoffs.”

James was pictured rallying the troops during a time out with the Lakers trailing to the Rockets but his speech was interrupted by Kyle Kuzma.

And Foye says that could be a sign that not all is right in the Lakers camp after a torrid time before the trade deadline.

The Lakers were determined to sign Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans and made it clear that almost every player on the roster would be available for trade.

Foye added: “But one thing that worried me watching the in the time out last night was the morale of the team.

“While LeBron is explaining something to a second-year player and Kyle Kuzma is saying something back.

“So that jumps out at me. I think when a guy like that who won four MVPs, [played in] nine straight finals [talks], you have to listen. You have to be locked in.

“Because when he’s giving you the information he’s giving you it’s helpful and it’s going to help you be successful on the court.”

James was quizzed on the star of the squad immediately after the game and insisted he was happy with it despite their failure to secure any new faces.

“It’s a fresh start for us in the second half of the season,” he said.

“The trade deadline is over with, this is our squad and I’m happy with who we’ve got.

“I love our squad and I look forward to watching how we continue to battle for the rest of the season.”
