Jenny Ryan: The Chase's Vixen reveals 'creepy' fact about herself – you'll never guess it

The 37-year-old quizzer joined in when comedienne Kiri Ptichard-McLean, 32, tweeted her 14,000 followers saying: “I used to collect broken china as a child. Anyone else collect something utterly bizarre, and let’s face it — creepy, as a child?” Comedian Rhys James, 27, chipped in to revealing his odd collection as a child, saying: “Little fake skills. This will come as a surprise to no one.” The Chase favourite Jenny Ryan proceeded to outdo her fellow stars, replying: “I had a small collection of real skulls and bones, they lives on my ‘nature shelf’.

“One other exhibit was a mummified spider,” she added.

Although a rather strange admission, Jenny’s habit was branded “f***ing cool” by one fan in the comments section.

Jenny has been a member of The Chase’s line-up of champion quizzers since 2015.

She has gone up against teams of contestants in over 100 episodes.

She has become famous for her ultra-glamorous appearance on the TV game show, with her Vixen character being dressed in a black bodycon dress with fuchsia leopard print trim and sporting a dramatic red beehive.

The flame-haired beauty is a regular Twitter user and often takes to the social media platform to answer questions from The Chase viewers.

Earlier this week, she responded to one fan who asked which Chaser she would want to go up against if she were a contestant on the show.

“None of them,” she replied, in view of her 44,000 Twitter followers. “They’re all quiz monsters!”

Meanwhile, last week, Jenny gave an insight into a mystery on The Chase when she was questioned about the silhouette of a Chaser which can be seen at the beginning of each episode.

“Is it a cardboard cut-put that Bradley [Walsh] turns to at the end of the intro or the actual Chaser?” a fan asked.

“Neither,” Jenny replied cryptically, keeping the intrigue going by playing her cards close to her chest.

Fans flocked to the comments section to speculate about the identity of the figure, with one saying: “It’s a different member of the production crew each time, isn’t it?”

“Is it someone in the audience?” another asked, while a third instead: “No audience on the non-celeb shows. Canned laughter.”

A fourth social media user simply told Jenny: “You tease, you…”

Many fans were convinced the silhouette was that of a member of The Chase’s crew.

The Chase continues today at 5pm on ITV.
