But there are a number of ways that you can play Anthem early before it hits the shelves in the shops on Friday.

If you’re wondering when you’ll get to play Anthem game then don’t worry, Express.co.uk has you covered.

We have rounded up everything you need to know ahead of the Anthem game release date on PS4, Xbox One and PCs.

ANTHEM GAME – WHAT IS THE UNLOCK TIME ON PS4, XBOX ONE AND PCS? WHEN CAN YOU PRELOAD?

If you have pre-ordered the standard edition or Legion of Dawn edition of Anthem digitally then you’ll be able to play it as soon as it unlocks.

These digital editions of Anthem unlock at 5am GMT on February 22 for fans in the UK.

But for US gamers it will become available at 9pm pacific time on February 21 and 12am eastern time on February 22.

If you’re looking to play Anthem as soon as it unlocks then you can speed this up as preload is available right now.

ANTHEM GAME – IS EARLY ACCESS AVAILABLE FOR ANTHEM? HOW DO YOU GET EARLY ACCESS?

You can play Anthem early thanks to a number of different services.

If you’re a member on Origin Access Premier on PCs then you’ve been able to play the full Anthem game since February 15.

If you’re a member of Origin Access Basic then you would have got a 10 hour trial of Anthem starting from the same date also.

EA Access members on Xbox One also from February 15 have been able to take advantage of a 10 hour trial of Anthem.

Seeing as EA Access isn’t available on PS4s, there’s no Anthem early access for PlayStation fans.

ANTHEM GAME – ARE ANTHEM REVIEWS OUT? WHAT ARE THE CRITICS’ VERDICT?

So far only a few Anthem game reviews have been published.

At the time of writing Metacritic has aggregated five reviews of Anthem, with a score of 67 per cent currently.

The most recent review came from GameSpot who said: “Anthem has good ideas, but it struggles significantly with the execution.

“It’s a co-op game that works best with no one talking; it buries genuinely interesting character moments and puts its most incomprehensible story bits at the forefront; its combat is exciting until you get to the boss fights and find your wings have been clipped.

“Even the simple, exhilarating act of flying is frequently interrupted by the limitations of your javelin, and you never quite shake that feeling of disappointment–of knowing, throughout the good parts of Anthem, that you’ll inevitably come crashing back down.”

While Destructoid added: “BioWare will need to build quickly on top of its shimmering jet-fueled foundation to hold people’s interest, but folks looking for a new neighborhood to move into might want to give Anthem a try — either now or after fixes and updates.”
