Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd hopeful of agreement, Bale to Chelsea update, Arsenal plan

08:25 UPDATE: Sancho to Man Utd conditions

Man Utd must finish in the top four to have any chance of signing Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

The Mirror claim United will also have to pay in excess of £100million to secure a deal for the 18-year-old.

The England international quit Manchester City for Dortmund last summer.

However, Sancho has impressed in Germany, with rumours already linking him with a Premier League return.

08:00 UPDATE: Man Utd hope

Man Utd are hopeful of agreeing a new contract with David De Gea.

ESPN claim the Spain international will earn around £350,000-a-week at Old Trafford.

There are concerns over agents’ fees, however, United feel there will be a breakthrough soon.

De Gea is keen to stay after United have turned their fortunes around under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

07:35 UPDATE: Bale to Chelsea

Real Madrid are trying to offload Gareth Bale to Chelsea, however, the player himself would supposedly rather join Manchester United.

OK Diario director Eduardo Inda said: “Real Madrid wants to transfer him to Chelsea this summer and his agent to Manchester United.

“The player says that since they are going to sell he will choose his destination.

“And in the club [Real Madrid] they say no because [Eden] Hazard is done and would serve as a bargaining chip.”

07:10 UPDATE: Nzonzi to Arsenal update

Arsenal will likely sign Steven Nzonzi if they appoint Monchi as their technical director, Italian outlet Calciomercatonews claim.

Monchi is currently the director of football at AS Roma and could join the Gunners this summer.

He was responsible for bringing Nzonzi to Serie A, when they both left Sevilla for Roma and it is rumoured the same could happen again if Monchi comes to London.

Unai Emery is keen to spend this summer after only being able to complete loan deals in January.
