Louise Redknapp says she's had 'one hell of a year' after crossing paths with Emily Atack

Louise Redknapp downed drinks with a friend at a BRIT Awards 2019 after party following her appearance at the prestigious show last night. The 44-year-old toasted to an eventful year with a male companion hours after attending the same ceremony as Emily Atack, who previously asked Harry Redknapp for son Jamie’s number. In an video uploaded to her Instagram Story, the singer turned to her pal with a shot in hand before saying: “We have had one hell of a year.” The Eternal singer recently admitted it had been “tough” splitting with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, 45.

Earlier in the night, the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant wowed on the red carpet at the BRITs in a black mini-dress.

Posing for photographers in the sexy number, Louise added height to her frame with a pair of patent pumps.

Her garment featured bold shoulder pads and clinched in at the waist to highlight her phenomenal figure.

She wore her blonde tresses in a long plait, which she let drape across her shoulder.

What’s more she completed the look with a generous coating of eye make-up and delicate jewellery.

Meanwhile, Emily flashed plenty of flesh in a thigh-grazing gown, which had one long sleeve and a side slit.

She finished off the get-up with embellished heels, featuring stars and a matching patterned clutch bag.

Emily also added a slick of red lipstick while wearing her blonde mane down in glamorous curls.

Her red carpet appearance comes weeks after she asked her former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2018 co-star Harry Redknapp to hook her up with Jamie, following his divorce from Louise in December 2017.

She later went on to say she was joking during her stay in the jungle for the ITV programme, but it came up a couple of times during the season.

One time she told 71-year-old football manager Harry: “I bet I would make a really good daughter-in-law.”

Louise recently opened up about her split from Jamie, revealing her former spouse is her “best friend”.

Of their separation, she told Heart FM: “It’s been really tough, but I mean, you know, he’s my best friend.”

She added: “It’s been really tough but things happen and yeah, I saw him yesterday and it was all good.

“We had school meetings and stuff, like you do, so all good.”

The couple, who tied in 1998, have two children together: Charles 14, and 10-year-old Beau.
