LeBron James news: Pat Riley claim, LeBron hails Zion Williamson, Space Jam 2 statement

LeBron James claim from Pat Riley

Miami Heat president Pat Riley has claimed LeBron James’ 2014 exit ruined the franchise’s chances of creating a dynasty.

“When LeBron made that call, I saw a dynasty fly out the window,” Riley said of James’ 2014 departure in an interview with ESPN.

“I didn’t blame him. But I knew that was a 10-year team. It was just a sad day for me and for our franchise because I wanted that dynasty.

“I wanted this city and this team to go 10 years and maybe be in the Finals eight times.

“I don’t know how many championships we would have won. But I don’t have any rancour toward him at all.”

LeBron James hails Zion Williamson

Duke Blue Devils small forward Zion Williamson has been hailed by James, who has admitted to being in awe of the 285lbs 18-year-old’s athleticism.

“With his athleticism, with what we all see, to jump well beyond the 10-foot rim is incredible,” James told USA Today when asked about Williamson, who is expected to be the first pick of the 2019 NBA Draft.

“I think what’s also incredible is at his size his speed, his agility, his quickness.

“And then to add on to that, I think he’s just a great kid.”

LeBron James confirms Space Jam 2

James has revealed that filming for Space Jam 2 will take place during the summer.

“I’ve got Space Jam,” he said this past weekend when asked about his summer plans.

“I’m gonna be in Space Jam 2. We start filming that this summer.”

Space Jam 2 is a sequel to the 1996 movie starring Michael Jordan.
