‘Putin could be CONTROLLING Trump’ – national security expert's BOLD claim on CNN

National security expert Samantha Vinograd warned that Trump could be controlled by the Russian President following the incredible claims made by former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe yesterday. Mr McCabe spoke not only of the possibility of tapping Trump but also that no Congressman had objected to the investigation into the US President. Speaking on CNN, Ms Vinograd wondered if the FBI’s investigation was still going on.

She said: “It is entirely possible that this investigation is continuing and there is still a chance that Vladimir Putin is controlling the White House.

“McCabe has said that the president’s moves to undercut investigations, to believe Vladimir Putin over his own intelligence officials, to make personnel decisions based on Russia-related matters all led to this investigation.

“Just in the past few days, the counterintelligence red flags are flying a lot higher than they did, arguably, then, when this investigation was first launched in 2017.”

Mr McCabe admitted that former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was “absolutely serious” about wearing a wire to record Trump.

He also spoke of the chaos surrounding the administration following the allegations of Russian interference in the election.

He said: “The Deputy Attorney General offered to wear a wire into the White House.

“He was not joking. He was absolutely serious.

“And in fact, he brought it up in the next meeting we had.”

Mr McCabe also revealed that Mr Rosenstein had even considered using the 25th Amendment to remove the President from office.

The 25th Amendment allows the Vice President and Cabinet to remove Trump if he is deemed unfit or unable to carry out his duties.

In defence of Trump, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham described the recent revelations as “beyond stunning” while vowing to launch an investigation into the FBI.

Trump also attacked Mr McCabe following his comments labelling the investigation as “illegal” and “treasonous”.
