Coleen Nolan: Loose Women star rushed to A&E after daughter’s rant 'I nearly killed mum!'

Coleen Nolan, 53, opened up up about her split from her husband Ray Fensome alongside her daughter Ciara, 18.

The Loose Women star revealed her daughter gave her the strength to end her marriage, after noting how unhappy they were making each other.

In a joint interview with this week’s OK! Magazine, Ciara spoke out about why she told her parents to split.

She said: “Mum was complaining about something and I went, ‘Will you stop b****ing about each other and finally end it, because you’re hurting me’.”

Ciara said following her rant, her mum suffered an allergic reaction and was rushed to hospital.

She added: “I had a 15-minute rant – and then Mum ended up in hospital because her face blew up!”

Coleen explained she found out she was allergic to a certain product, which flared up due to stress.

She divulged: “When you’re stressed, your immune system can’t fight the allergy, so that night I went to bed all stressed, and during the night my face started burning, like someone had poured boiling water over it.

“My son Shane drove me to A&E at 2am and they didn’t recognise me because I looked like a red balloon, with my eyes shut.”

Coleen said: “I was rushed to resuscitation in case my throat swelled.”

“I nearly killed Mum by having a rant!” Ciara added.

Meanwhile, Coleen will be back shedding her clothes once again on this year’s The Real Full Monty.

The mother-of-three will be returning to lead the female group alongside 2018 star, Victoria Derbyshire.

They will be hitting the stage alongside Megan Barton Hanson, Martina Navratilova, Laurie Brett, Lisa Maffia, Danielle Armstrong, Benidorm’s Crissy Rock and Victoria Derbyshire.

The women will be baring all to raise awareness of breast cancer, to encourage women to check their breasts, go to their smear appointments and to be more aware of their health.

Elsewhere, Ashley Banjo will be back to teach the men and women a new routine to perform on the night.

Pointless presenter Alexander Armstrong will also be on hand to lead the men.

Love Island winner Jack Fincham will be stripping off with Joe Pasquale, Willie Thorne, Rav Wilding, Kevin Fletcher, Matt Evers and Jason Cundy.
