NBA All Star Dunk Contest LIVE stream: How to stream Dunk Contest online

The NBA All Star weekend is a chance for a host of players to showcase their talents and that is exactly what the Dunk Contest is created for.

After the 1976 ABA All Star Game introduced the first-ever Slam Dunk Contest, fans were immediately hooked.

The NBA reintroduced the Slam Dunk Contest in 1984 with Larry Nance Sr. coming out on top.

Ever since then, the Dunk Contest has been a staple of the All-Star weekend with several NBA players making a name for themselves in the competition.

Michael Jordan won the trophy back-to-back in 1987 and 1988, while Vince Carter’s performance in the 2000 Dunk Contest is legendary.

This year’s batch of players will be hoping to write their name in the history books.

The New York Knicks’ Dennis Smith Jr. takes part for the second consecutive season, but defending champion Donovan Mitchell will not feature.

Smith will be competing against John Collins, Miles Bridges and Hamidou Diallo.
