Carol Vorderman: Countdown bombshell struggles to contain assets in cheeky throwbacks

Carol Vorderman, now 58, chose a seriously sexy blue mini dress for the star-studded even, which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Posing for pictures at the bash, the Countdown star flashed the flesh in the revealing number, which featured an asymmetric hemline and chiffon ruffles in sky blue. One shot showed her looking merry as she laughed in the direction of photographers, the strapless frock slipping down to expose a generous glimpse of her assets.

Carol was also snapped on a staircase, grasping the top of the garment in an attempt to pull it up.

In a third snap, she could be seen clutching her chest to preserve her modesty.

The miniature number ensured the TV presenter’s shapely pins were impossible to miss as she elongated them further in strappy metallic stilettos.

She accessorised the racy look with a matching blue bag.

Carol’s hair was styled into a cropped bob and she accentuated her natural beauty with a dewy make-up look for the BAFTAs.

The sexy star first found fame when she joined Countdown in when the Channel 4 game show began in 1982.

She went on to present the letters and numbers rounds until her departure in 2008.

The curvaceous star’s other TV credits include Have I Got News For You, How 2 and guest hosting Lorraine.

In 2004, she took part in the second series of Strictly Come Dancing, but was eliminated second.

Carol has also done a stint in the jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016.

She became the fifth famous face to be booted off the ITV reality show.

Carol has also one the Rear of the Year Award twice, first in 2011 and again in 2014.

The former Countdown star has been married and divorced twice and has two children with her second husband Patrick King.

In December, Carol opened up on her love life, saying she had been on the “best first date ever” last year.

“I’m not telling you anything because there may be no second date,” she told the Loose Women panel.

“It was slightly surreal and he’s an amazing person and that’s all I’m telling you. And he’s not British and he’s not famous.”
