Could Bohemian Rhapsody win Best Picture?
Maybe, but despite the biopics awards already won, the safe bet is no.
According to oddsmakers, Alfonso Cuaron’s Roma is favourite to win.
The black and white Netflix movie is the first foreign-language film to be nominated in the Best Picture category.
Second up is Green Book, which already won its star Mahershala Ali a BAFTA and a Golden Globe.

In the wake of allegations against former director Bryan Singer, Bohemian Rhapsody was removed from the GLAAD Awards, having been nominated initially in the Outstanding Film – Wide Release category.
Likewise, the BAFTAs removed Singer’s name from Bohemian Rhapsody’s nomination for the Award for Best British Film.
Bohemian Rhapsody for best picture is a long shot, but it isn’t the first time an Oscars upset has happened.
The likelihood that Bohemian Rhapsody could top a movie like Green Book, a typical Oscar-favourite, seems steep.
