Tottenham vs Borussia Dortmund LIVE STREAM: How to watch Champions League football online

Tottenham will be hoping to translate their Premier League successes this season into European glory tonight.

The London club are currently third in season standings and are only five points behind Manchester City and Liverpool who both have a tally of 65.

Mauricio Pochettino has declared his side are going to compete at their “best” tonight and that motivation levels for players are high.

Speaking ahead of the Champions League match, he said: “We are going to compete at our best and our motivation is high.

“There are many things that can happen in one game but this is two legs and a tie you must not only win tomorrow, then after in Dortmund.

“Many things could be involved and be important to get through to the next stage of the Champions League.”

Moreover, Pochettino also suggested history between Tottenham and Dortmund will not be relevant for tonight’s clash as “every season is different”.

The manager continued: “That’s history, recent history, but every season is different, every year is different.

“They have different players, we are different too and you must play and show you deserve to win.

“Football is day by day. It is today and what happened yesterday doesn’t count today.

“It is so dynamic. It’s always exciting to play in the Champions League and we’ll give our best to try to win this game.”
