ORIGINAL: Nintendo Direct February 2019 is coming soon and Nintendo Switch fans are set to get some big announcements for the first Direct of the new year.
The House of Mario has revealed that Fire Emblem Three Houses is definitely getting showcased during the upcoming 35 minute Nintendo Direct.
But apart from that the Switch games line-up for the February 2019 Nintendo Direct remains a mystery – so there could be plenty of surprises.
Ahead of the February 2019 Nintendo Direct Express.co.uk has rounded up details on all the big Switch games that could get announced.
The Nintendo Direct for February 2019 will be taking place on Wednesday February 13 at 10pm UK time.
For those in Europe, the Nintendo Direct will start at 11pm CET and for fans in the US at 5pm eastern time and 2pm pacific.

NINTENDO DIRECT FEBRUARY 2019 GAMES – POKEMON GEN 8
We know that the next mainline entry in the Pokemon series – Gen 8 – is scheduled for release in 2019.
But apart from that what shape or form the next Pokemon game takes is a mystery.
However, that could all be about to change with the Pokemon Gen 8 game possibly getting revealed during the next Nintendo Direct.
Fans have been left speculating the Pokemon Gen 8 game could get revealed soon after a recent Nintendo announcement.
February 27 is Pokemon Day – which marks the anniversary that Pokemon Red and Green were first released in Japan in 1996.
The New York Nintendo store will be hosting activities throughout that week, with multiple Q&A sessions with Nintendo Treehouse.
Fans on Twitter are already speculating that these Q&A sessions could be dedicated to the Pokemon Gen 8 title.
If that’s the case, then Pokemon Gen 8 would likely have been revealed before then during the upcoming Nintendo Direct.

NINTENDO DIRECT FEBRUARY 2019 GAMES – ANIMAL CROSSING
Animal Crossing Switch was revealed during the last Nintendo Direct back in September.
No in-game footage was shown during that Direct, so fans are due a big unveiling on the highly anticipated title.
With a release date planned for 2019, it’s likely Ninty will start ramping up promotion of Animal Crossing Switch soon.
And one way to do that would be to give it a big showing in the upcoming Direct to help generate hype for it.
As fans wait for news on Animal Crossing Switch the release date for it may have leaked.
According to a listing by online retailer Base, Animal Crossing Switch could be out on September 13 2019.

NINTENDO DIRECT FEBRUARY 2019 GAMES – SPYRO
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy could be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Rumours have been sparked after a listing appeared on the GameStop Germany website for a Switch version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
Spyro on the Switch was listed as having a release date of August 16 2019, but the page on the GameStop website was later taken down.
Could it be that the Spyro port was announced early, and that it will get an official announcement at the upcoming Nintendo Direct?

NINTENDO DIRECT FEBRUARY 2019 GAMES – METROID, PIKMIN, MARIO, ZELDA
The upcoming Nintendo Direct was correctly predicted as taking place on February 13 by ResetEra user king zell.
Last week king zell claimed that a Nintendo Direct would happen on Wednesday February 13, and said some big games would get announced.
The ResetEra user – who has been right on numerous occasions – said Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Switch would get announced during the Direct.
They also predicted that Super Mario Maker 2 would get revealed and said a new 2D Zelda is in the works as is a Pikmin game for the Switch.

NINTENDO DIRECT FEBRUARY 2019 GAMES – FINAL FANTASY 7
A port of Final Fantasy 7 for the Switch was previously announced during the last Direct of 2018.
So far a release date hasn’t been revealed, but a recent Nintendo advert said it was “coming soon” to the Switch.
During previous Directs games have been announced as having immediate release dates – such as Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition and Hollow Knight.
It’s possible that this could happen again with Final Fantasy 7 Switch on Wednesday.
