Queen Maxima of the Netherlands looks incredible in unique role no other royal woman has

Queen Maxima, 47, was spotted in Jordan today looking very chic.

The stunning royal wore a tan coat with a matching tan roll-neck jumper.

She wrapped an obi belt around her waist.

The royal wore check trousers and added brown boots and pretty flower earrings.

Maxima was in the middle eastern country not only in her role as Queen but in another special capacity.

She is also the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).

She was given the role in September 2009 by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon.

In the role the royal looks at the financial services can help people not to fall into poverty.

The exciting role is one no other royal has held.

Maxima visited a Jordanian family in Salt, 30 kilometres north of the capital Amman.

She spoke the family about their financial situation and how to budget.

UNHCRJordan wrote on Twitter: “For @refugees financial inclusion is essential.

“To be able to save for their future, budget their spending and play a meaningful part of local economies.

“Delighted to welcome HRH Queen Maxima of the #Netherlands to our community centre in #Amman to discuss future initiatives.”

The Argentinian-native graduated with a degree in economics and has a Master’s degree.

Before marrying her husband she worked in finance, at Deutsche Bank in Brussels.

The royal met her husband Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands in 1999, and they married in 2002.

They now have three daughters Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, Princess Alexia, and Princess Ariane.

Meghan Markle, 37, is a British royal who once worked as a UN ambassador, but no longer has the role.

From one royal with impeccable style to another, Kate Middleton at the BAFTAs wore gorgeous white.
