This week will see a bunch of new PS4 games hit the PlayStation Store, making for a cracking February lineup.
The main PS4 exclusive launching in coming days is Eden Tomorrow, a new PlayStation VR experience.
This will be released tomorrow, February 12, and offers something a little different from the other games.
“What happens when an amnesiac and a drone wind up on a hostile alien planet? Soul Pix is serving up a story-driven PS VR action-adventure inspired by ’70s and ’80s science fiction films.
“Explore your surroundings and work together with your robotic buddy to solve puzzles while dodging vicious creatures.
“Eden-Tomorrow catapults the player right into the heart of a strange cosmos: frightening creatures, cryptic riddles, abandoned places and the ever-present question: “what happened here?”
“The game was planned for VR from the beginning. It’s a classic sci-fi story with action, thrills and mysteries, featuring two contrasting protagonists why haven’t any recollection of who they are and why they crash-landed on this strange planet.
“Their only chance to survive is to combine their skills.”
The other big name games being released this week are also available on Xbox One and make up a pretty stellar February roster.
New on PlayStation Store this week will be Far Cry New Dawn, Jump Force and Metro Exodus.
All three of these games will be launching on February 15 and will be available to download and play digitally from the PlayStation Store.
As you might expect, each of the three games comes in varying digital bundles, with some providing extra content over others.
Far Cry New Dawn is being launched as a standalone title, as well as in a Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition with Far Cry 5 and a Complete Edition.
It follows news regarding a recent launch that has proven very popular with PlayStation gamers.
Sony has announced that Resident Evil 2 was the best-selling game on the PlayStation Store in January.
This is during the same month as Kingdom Hearts 3, although, it should be noted that KH3 launched later in January.
The keenly-anticipated action RPG sequel entered the monthly chart at number six, after just two days on sale.
Resident Evil 2 Remake debuted at the top of the charts for January, followed surprisingly by GTA 5 and FIFA 19.
GTA 5 has been available to buy for several years and continues to prove a big seller for Rockstar Games.
Need For Speed Payback re-entered the charts at number 4, while Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds was pushed down to fifth.
It might surprise some observers to see that Red Dead Redemption 2 has dropped massively down the digital charts.
Red Dead Redemption 2 went from seventh to 17th, ranking much lower than Grand Theft Auto 5.
