Coronation Street spoilers: Nick Tilsley makes drastic Shona Ramsey move amid intruder?

Coronation Street favourites David Platt (played by Jack P Shepherd) and Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) appear to have an enemy.

The pair were seen last week suffering from a home intruder on the ITV soap.

But with the mystery figure’s identity currently unknown, it appears it may be Shona’s criminal son, Clayton Hibbs (Callum Harrison), or at least have something to do with him.

Should Clayton get his claws into Shona and her family once more, there could be more pain in line for the Platts.

From spoiler pictures, it has been confirmed there will be plenty of twists and turns with the criminal and his mother.

Now it seems there could be some light at the end of the tunnel for Shona.

According to Ben Price, David’s brother Nick Tilsley, will be a guiding force.

Speaking about the upcoming storyline which will see Shona cornered by Clayton’s cronies, Ben teased: “Nick doubted Shona at first.

“David set up with the mum of the person who killed his wife, so Nick quite rightly wanted t know what the reasons were and thought: ‘That can never work, it will always come back.’

“He immediately thinks David as in a weak position – Kylie had died, he’s losing his grip and Shona just jumped in.

“Nick is there as the big brother to say: ‘You might have got him but you haven’t got me,’ he continued to Digital Spy.

Ben added to the website how Nick springs into action when he discovers some criminals in his new barbers.

But it seems Nick’s good gestures are twisted as he only saves her because he wants to be the one to get revenge on her.

The actor spilled: “In his superior way, Nick thinks they are not going to be that smart and they aren’t very nice.

“He also sees it as holding something over Shona – but then it gets quite serious.

“He realises Shona is panicked and they are going to do something serious to her son.

“Although Nick doesn’t like her, he likes David enough to think he can save this or help her. He makes sure that if anyone’s going to bring Shona down, it’s him!”

In the coming weeks on Coronation Street, there will be a harrowing factory collapse.

And now it seems the victim could be Mary Taylor (Patti Claire).

Coronation Street continues tonight on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
