Ariana Grande blasts Grammys 2019 in EXPLOSIVE Twitter rant after Mac Miller snub

Ariana Grande, 25, was not in attendance at the star-studded Grammy Awards 2019 in Los Angeles but she appeared to be take aim at the awards after her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller lost out to the award for Best Rap Album to Cardi B. As Cardi B was announced the winner, Ariana published a series of expletive-laden tweets which were soon deleted, including one saying “literal bull****”. While it remains unclear if the Thank You…Next singer’s tweeted was referring to Cardi B’s win, this did not stop Twitter users from speculating she was upset her ex-boyfriend Max had not won for his album Swimming. In view of her 60.7 million Twitter followers, Ariana tweeted: “trash,” followed up by “f***” and said “bull****” in a third tweet.

She then added: “literal bull****,” before deleting all her posts.

Her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller tragically died last year from an accidental overdose.

The superstar went back on Twitter to later clarify her tweets after one social media user accused her of “shading” Cardi B.

The popstar responded: “Nothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i’m sorry.” (sic)

Despite being nominated, Ariana was not attending the event herself after she reportedly fell out with producers over which songs she could perform on the night, according to The Daily Mail.

She won the best pop vocal album trophy for Sweetner beating Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.

This is the singer’s first ever Grammy Award win.

She took to Twitter after the news was announced and described her win as “wild and beautiful.”

She added: “I know I’m not there tonight. Trust I tried and still truly wished it had worked.”

Meanwhile, Cardi B who did take to the stage on the big night, accepted her award for Best Rap Album for her debut Invasion of Privacy.

The Bronx rapper sported a white floor-length gown which sat off the shoulders.

She accessorised her look with white gloves which featured long tassels falling from the garments.

Wearing her dark locks straight down onto her bare shoulders, she took to the stage with husband, rapper Offset.

She thanked him in her acceptance speech, as well as their seven-month-old daughter, Kulture.

In a not so typical speech, she joked her nerves were so bad “maybe I need to start smoking w**d.”

She won rap album ahead of Swimming for the late Mac Miller, Daytona for Pusha T, Astroworld for Travis Scott and Victory Lap for Nipsey Hussle.

It has ben a whirlwind year for the rapper who released her debut album in April last year.
