Bohemian Rhapsody: Brian May SPEAKS OUT on Bryan Singer at BAFTAs ‘He’s NOT the director’

Nominated for seven BAFTAs, including Outstanding British Film, Bohemian Rhapsody is a surprise awards contender after receiving mixed reviews from the critics. In fact, the Freddie Mercury movie managed to win Best Drama Picture at the Golden Globes. And now Queen guitarist May is attending the BAFTAs at the Royal Albert Hall tonight to support it. During red carpet interviews, he spoke out on Bohemian Rhapsody’s fired director Singer.

Asked about the Singer controversy on the BAFTA red carpet, May spoke out.

The 71-year-old rock legend said to the BBC: “It’s nothing to do with us.

“He hasn’t been the director for a long time.

“He was sacked for very good reason… not by us, by Fox so it’s a very arm’s-length thing for us.”
