The England striker has become the main man since the Norwegian’s appointment.
Rashford has fired six goals in eight Premier League matches after scoring the first goal of Solskjaer’s Manchester United tenure at Cardiff.
The 21-year-old has also chipped in with two assists during that time, making him one of the most transferred in players on Fantasy Premier League.
And managers would have fancied the star to continue his goalscoring form against the worst defence in the league.
But those who gave him the nod in their squad were hit with bad news when Solskjaer decided to rest him for the trip to Fulham.
It is likely that he will come on as a substitute meaning he could still pick up some points.
Romelu Lukaku leads the line in his place and there had been talk Rashford would be rested meaning some may have quickly dropped him to their virtual bench.
Fans took to Twitter to vent their anger at the decision.
One said: “Hahahaha Ole has put Rashford on the bench. What is he playing at??? #FPL”
Another put: “Solskjaer is mad for dropping Rashford! That is my friggin FPL captain! Ugh.”
One fan was hit with a major blow after using his triple captain chip on the star.
He said: “I only switched my captain from Zaha to Rashford and played my triple captain this week didn’t I #FPL Oh well United comes first so I would rather he is fresh to shock PSG haha #mufc”
Another said: “RIP #FPL Rashford is on the bench.”
Rashford will now be fresh for the crunch Champions League clash with PSG in midweek.
It’s been a good week for the forward, after he won the Premier League Player of the Month award.
“It’s always good to pick up individual awards but I think the way we’ve performed as a team has been very good over the last few weeks,” Rashford told Manchester United’s official website.
“The aim for us now is to just continue it, but we have to take it game by game and one step at a time.
“Consistency is something you always want to improve and, for a young player, it can be difficult but I think over the last two months we’ve got it right.”
