The Chase: Bradley Walsh forced to shut down contestant after bizarre remark

Bradley Walsh back as the host of The Chase this evening, and he was in fine form yet again.

However, Bradley was forced to interrupt a contestant this evening after he made an inappropriate remark.

Bradley asked the contestant, Irfan, what he was planning to spend the money on should he win.

Irfan then revealed that his wife wanted to spend the money on home improvements.

“Home improvements,” Irfan said, before adding: “The women don’t stop.”

This comment was met with an intake of breath from the audience and Bradley was forced to step in to stop Irfan from saying anything else he might regret.

“My wife’s fine Irfan,” Bradley said.

He then added: “I think we’ve got to swerve this conversation.”

Irfan just shrugged and went on to get only £3,000 in his cash builder and was then caught by the chaser.

Viewers then took to Twitter to comment on Irfan’s remarks, and they weren’t very impressed.

One viewer said: “When that bloke on the Chase said ‘the women don’t stop’ and went on to complain about their bagging, you could feel all the air just get sucked out of the room.

“Jeeeeez. Poor Bradley Walsh for having to save that.”

Another added: “He loves his wife, he’s Irfan!”

A third viewer claimed: “Sells fragrance, manufactures fragrance, collects fragrance in his spare time, throws sexist remarks around on national telly.”

“Think the s*** might hit the Irfan,” tweeted another viewer.
