Galaxy S10 leaked images show exactly what this Samsung phone is capable of

Galaxy S10 is the anticipated successor to the Galaxy S9 and looks set to introduce a swathe of new features for Samsung fans to enjoy.

First and foremost, the hardware looks set to break from recent Samsung tradition by releasing in three models rather than just two.

In addition to standard and “+” versions of the hardware, it has also been rumoured the South Korean OEM could be planning to introduce a cheaper variant that forgoes some premium features in exchange for a more appealing price tag.

A report from Bloomberg suggested the most notable admission from the handset could be a signature Samsung curved display.

Instead, it is presumed such a product will come with a flat OLED panel.

While the name of the cheaper device was previously unclear, it appears Samsung could call it the Galaxy S10 E, according to a fresh outing.

SlashLeaks recently posted an image of the alleged handset turning on.

Its display read “Samsung Galaxy S10e”, seemingly confirming the name of the product.

The S10e was displayed with a hole punch-style notch that housed its front-facing camera.

It is expected all models of the S10 will arrive with all-screen designs and extremely small bezels.

While the S10e leak seems to offer a tantalising glimpse at the cheaper variant from Samsung, it appears the standard Galaxy S10 and S10+ have also been outed, potentially revealing some of their new features.

SaudiAndroid recently posted images of the claimed handsets that seemingly confirmed each will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The alleged S10+ as shown with a fingerprint icon on its lock screen similar to what is already present on the likes of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and OPPO RX17 Pro.

Furthermore, the lack of a traditional reader on the phone’s rear adds further credence to such a claim.

It has been rumoured Samsung will use ultrasonic sensors on its S10 and S10+ devices.

Such technology is considered to be quicker and more secure than the optical in-display readers present on the Mate 20 Pro, RX17 Pro and OnePlus 6T.

Both the claimed S10 and S10+ models were shown with three cameras on their rear.

Meanwhile, a third S10 leak from WinFuture also suggested the Galaxy S10 will be able to wirelessly charge other devices that are placed on its back panel.

Reverse wireless charging first debuted on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro but it appears Samsung is set to follow suit with such a feature.

WinFuture showed an image of the Galaxy S10 with new claimed headphones from the South Korean OEM, dubbed Galaxy Buds, charging on its rear.

The trio of new leaks appear to have revealed a litany of details about Samsung’s forthcoming devices ahead of their scheduled debuts.

However, it is worth noting Samsung has not commented on the accuracy of the new leaks.

Instead, it is presumed the firm will discuss everything about the S10 on February 20.

Express.co.uk will be covering proceedings live.
