Weight loss diet plan which saw a woman lose 24lbs in EIGHT weeks – how did she do it?

Losing weight is no easy feat, and shifting a large amount of fat fast can be difficult. However, whether it’s for your confidence or for the good of your health, slimming down to a healthy weight can be important for many people. Weighing in at 13 stone 10lbs, Abbie Parker, 32, decided she wanted to switch up her lifestyle and get trim. Launching her fitness journey, the charity worker headed to her local gym. But, despite her 30-minute sessions on the cross-trainer, as well as several sit-ups and planks, Abbie failed to see results.

It was then that Abbie decided to seek advice elsewhere.

With F45’s eight-week challenge catching her eye, she headed online to discover her local studio, in Islington, London.

Beginning the comprehensive nutrition and training programme in April 2018, the 32-year-old was told to take part in between three and four of the F45 classes each week.

Enjoying the activities, she began to attend more than this – with classes varying between cardio, resistance, and a combination of the two.

She also followed a specialised meal plan, as part of the challenge, which aimed to optimise her weight loss.

Tailored to suit her dietary needs, Abbie tucked into chicken, eggs fish, and the recommended amount of vegetables.

Ahead of the programme, she had found herself in the overweight category (33 per cent plus), according to her body fat percentage ranges.

During the eight-weeks, Abbie’s slimming saw her drop from 45.9 per cent body fat, to 37.5 per cent.

She also lost an impressive 11kg (24 pounds, which equates to around one stone, 10lbs).

But that’s not all, as Abbie was left feeling motivated to carry on with her training after the challenge came to an end.

Having continued to work out with F45, these days, the 32-year-old has lost a total of 18.9kg, and has a body fat percentage of 10.1 per cent.

The slimmer previously wore a woman’s dress size 16, but these days, Abbie wears a far smaller size 8/10.

Another way to boost weight loss could be to start drinking a particular type of drink.

According to Healthline, green tea could be one of the most effective teas when it comes to losing weight.

They explain: “In one 2008 study, 60 obese people followed a standardised diet for 12 weeks while regularly drinking either green tea or a placebo.

“Over the course of the study, those who drank green tea lost 7.3 pounds more weight than the placebo group.”
