– This is the first year the NBA All-Star Draft will be televised after complaints in 2018
– LeBron James will select first from the starter pool. Giannis Antetokounmpo will select first in the reserve pool
– Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki will be available for selection in a special addition third round
– This year’s All-Star game will be in Charlotte, starting on February 15

I for one was hoping there would be no games tonight and they would use it as an opportunity to just line the players up and both LeBron and Giannis select their picks from a line-out. Wishful thinking I guess.

The NBA trade deadline has now passed with a number of players on the move, but now all the attention will be on the All-Star weekend in a weeks’ time.
The fans have got their wish after the 2018 All-Star selection process was slammed with both LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo revealing their selections on a TV special this evening.
