Avengers Endgame Super Bowl trailer: THIS line reveals HOW Avengers 4 will end?

One thing is very clear. Whatever teasers, spoilers, hints and clues were contained in the 30-second spot at the weekend, things are looking very grim for the remaining heroes. This is fair enough when the surviving Avengers have to somehow bring back everyone lost in The Snap. It is assumed the will, somehow, since many of the characters have their own ongoing films and franchises. However, do not expect any happy endings – especially when you take a closer look at this chilling line.

The teaser trailer is unflinching in portraying just how desperate the situation is facing Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye (or should that be Ronin?) and the gang.

Steve Rogers is assumed to be the man who delivers the critical line, the only line, in the trailer.

He says; “Some people move one. But not us. Not us.”

On face value, it speaks of the core team’s unbroken will and determination to carry on and right the wrongs of the past. Unfortunately, it can also be seen as a heartbreaking harbinger of the final grief to come.

Many fans are already speculating this line is the confirmation of what has long been suspected.

It was clearly no coincidence the original Avengers all survived the Snap intact while every other MCU team was decimated. The entire journey began with them and it is fitting they should end it.

However, it is increasingly likely the climax of Avengers 4 will also bring the end of the core heroes.

Fans like Redditor Vynaeriak suggest the voiceover actually means the original Avengers will not move on beyond this movie. Whether they sacrifice themselves or retire, they will not be part of the Marvel Phase 4 and beyond.

One increasingly popular theory, for example, claims Thanos did not kill everyone in the Snap, they were simply moved into another parallel dimension. This is the reality that will move forward in the MCU, without anyone who was left behind.

Whatever the outcome, however people are brought back or not, fans should brace themselves for some tearful farewells to the likes of Captain America.
