Premier League super computer predicts Everton vs Man City match… BAD news for Liverpool

And a super computer is backing Pep Guardiola’s men to get the job done.

The gap between leaders Liverpool and City is just three points after the Reds failed to beat West Ham on Monday.

City will start the match in good spirits after beating Arsenal 3-1 on Sunday courtesy of a Sergio Aguero hat-trick.

While Everton have just three wins in their last 12 Premier League games and the pressure is mounting on manager Marco Silva.

And a computer algorithm which is based on results, form and fixtures has determined City will win tonight’s match 1-0.

Everton’s chances of victory are put at just 19.8 per cent.

City are the Premier League’s top goalscorer with 66 goals and Guardiola has called on his players to hunt for goals amid concerns the title race could be decided on goal difference.

Guardiola said: “The first message is to win the game and the second one is; if you can score, score and if you can avoid conceding, do it because maybe you could win the Premier League on goal difference.

“While we are not going to say to the guys today we have to win 25-zero – I never say that – first you have to win the game and then second try, because it can happen.

“I’m pretty sure the winner will be the last fixture or the last two. I’m sure of that.”

Everton are in need of a positive result to lift the pressure on their manager Silva.

But regardless of the result, Guardiola feels Everton need to show patience.

“My advice… if they believe in the project, if they believe in him, they have to move forward with him,” Guardiola said.

“Nobody assures you a new manager is going to do better.

“It’s difficult to create, to build something. You need time, it takes time. So it depends if they trust (Silva) or not.

“The people don’t know how difficult it is to create teams.

“People believe I buy three or four players, a new manager, and everything fits perfectly. Sometimes it takes time.”
