Emmerdale spoilers: Cain Dingle arrest prompts heartbreaking Moira Dingle move

Emmerdale’s cops are still trying to get to the bottom of Joe Tate’s (played by Ned Porteous) disappearance.

They recently arrested Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) after he was turned in by Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano).

Naturally, the move tore apart Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb), who didn’t know whether to believe her husband or her son.

But next week, it seems there could be some kind of reconciliation in store.

The pair sit down to have a chat and it seems Matty was convinced he was doing the right thing.

Moira was horrified he would recklessly tear the family apart like that.

But since Cain appears to be off the hook for now, could this be a means to reconcile?

It’s all thanks to Matty’s friend, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins), who insists he should reach out to his mum.

Moira heads to chat to her son and he is beyond nervous at how it will go.

Will they be able to meet in the middle and save the family?

Fans know full well Cain is not responsible for Joe’s murder.

Although he did strike him, the move didn’t kill Joe.

It was Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) who put an apparent end to his friend.

Since then, Cain has been wracked with guilt and takes to battling with Graham for answers.

It seems enough is enough for the mechanic and he takes to threatening the former butler.

Will Cain actually end up doing something he will live to regret?

Elsewhere in the Dales, Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and Maya Stepney (Louise Clein) have been embarking on a sordid affair.

She has been grooming the school child but it seems she has finally pushed him too far.

However, it seems Jacob could be in line for revenge on the creepy teacher after exposing him while he tried to move on to another girl.

Jacob has warned Maya to stay away or else, but will she heed his advice?

Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV at 7pm.
