Rachel Riley: Countdown beauty in turmoil as 'peaceful bath' is disturbed by 'perv'

Rachel Riley joked about being disturbed while she took a bath and told her 624,000 Twitter followers her moment of “peace” was broken by a “perv”. The 33-year-old Countdown favourite was interrupted by her pet cat Rafs when she took to the bathroom. Sharing a picture of the feline hanging at the edge of the tub, she wrote: “Tried to have a peaceful bath. Rafs is a perv #CatsAgainstAntisemitism.” She also included an image of the kitten laying on her purple towel, which was left on the floor of the bathroom.

The hilarious photos and witty caption caught the attention of her fans, some of whom discussed the moment in the comment section below.

One person penned: “He may be a cat against anti-Semitism, but he’s not against peeping on a lady in the bath!”

Another quipped: “Can you blame him Rachel,” as a third commentator remarked: “That cat has absolutely no idea how lucky he is.”

Meanwhile, someone else shared: “Naughty Rafs. I love the first photo, he looks so curious.”

A fifth person penned: “My cats are the same. I think they’re just mystified that we’d voluntarily soak ourselves in water. They must think we’re mad.”

Earlier this month, Rachel admitted to breaking some rules during her recent trip to Russia.

Celebrating her one -ear anniversary of going vegan with The Guardian, the blonde stunner let slip she ate things she “shouldn’t have” while on holiday.

“Last year I went to Russia for the first time and there was so much good stuff on offer,” she recalled.

“I did fall off the wagon a little bit and try a few things I shouldn’t have.

“I tried vodka with caviar and sour cream and I tried my favourite Russian salad which is called Herring in a Fur Coat and it’s delicious.”

Continuing, she added: “It’s got carrots, beetroot, potato, onion, eggs, spring onion, herring and Russian’s favourite, loads and loads of mayo.

“It’s absolutely delicious and I’ve missed it like anything. Until recently where I made my own vegan version.”

Rachel, who is dating Strictly Come Dancing professional Pasha Kovalev, also opened up on how veganism has helped with her health issues.

She told the publication: “If I had the same I’d of had the food options of what to eat when I was first ill aged eight that I do now, then maybe I’d be celebrating my 25 year vegan anniversary.”

Also, the mathematician revealed she stopped eating eggs and diary products at the start of her vegan journey.

Countdown airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 2.10pm.
