Why isn’t NCIS on this week?
NCIS is not on this week because President Donald Trump is giving his State of the Union address.
Originally, the State of Union address was scheduled to take place last Tuesday (January 29) was cancelled due to the US government shutdown.
The State of the Union address is scheduled to take place tonight at 8pm Eastern time and sadly this means, NCIS season 16, episode 13 has had to be postponed until next week.
NCIS season 16, episode 13 will air on Tuesday, February 12 instead.
Luckily, fans have not been completely left in the dark as CBS dropped a teaser trailer for the upcoming episode during Sunday evening’s (February 4) Super Bowl.

What will happen in NCIS season 16, episode 13?
NCIS season 16, episode 13 is called She and it looks like Cote de Pablo may be back to reprise her role as Ziva David.
In the promo trailer, former NCIS special agent features but it is unclear if the episode it will be in purely flashback form.
Actress Cote de Pablo left NCIS and her role of Ziva David behind at the end of season 11 in 2013.
Her final moments saw her kissing Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) for the first time.
In season 13, it was revealed that Ziva had died during a mortar attack arranged by former CIA agent Trent Kort (David Dayan Fisher).
However, Ziva’s remains were never found so it is possible she may still be alive and willing to help the team.
WILL ZIVA DAVID RETURN?
The promo trailer does not confirm Ziva’s return but teases that the episode will reveal a “big secret”.
Episode 16 will see the NCIS team come across a malnourished nine-year-old hiding in a storage unit.
Their discovery leads them to reopen a missing person case that involved the daughter of a Navy recruit.
During the investigation, Ellie Bishop (played by Emily Wickersham) discovered notes that Ziva had kept on the missing person, long after the case was closed.
WHO PLAYS MR SYDNEY?
The trailer shows an old clip of Ziva before the trailer cuts to the NCIS team working on the investigation.
The voiceover says: “You thought her story was over. Now the biggest NCIS secret of all will be revealed.”
The official synopsis for the upcoming episode reads: “A malnourished and confused nine-year-old is found hiding in a storage unit.
“The team reopens an old missing person’s case that Special Agent Ziva David had a personal interest in.”
